Mazao ya viwandani hutoa mafuta, uzi, au kemikali kutoka kwa majani, mbegu, gome, au mizizi kwa ajili ya mapato au matumizi ya shambani. Mimea katika mkusanyiko wetu hutumiwa kwa ajili ya mafuta ya chakula, kinyunya, chakula, uzi, mafuta ya gari, au kama dawa ya kuua wadudu.
