Carpotecas
Una carpoteca es un lugar donde los miembros de la comunidad pueden obtener semillas de forma gratuita o por una tarifa nominal, que se administra para el beneficio público. Muchas carpotecas están abiertas en bibliotecas públicas y centros comunitarios. Para algunas comunidades, el enfoque es lograr que las personas tengan un huerto y cultiven algunos de sus propios alimentos.
