Recursos de sistemas agrícolas
Un sistema agrícola se define como una población de sistemas agrícolas individuales que tienen bases de recursos, patrones empresariales, medios de vida y limitaciones familiares muy similares, y para los que serían adecuadas estrategias e intervenciones de desarrollo similares. Según la escala del análisis, un sistema agrícola puede abarcar unas pocas docenas o muchos millones de hogares.
