This year marks the 23rd Anniversary of the ECHO International Agriculture Conference held in Fort Myers, FL!  We hope that you will make plans to join us for this year's conference.  The event brings together some of the world’s most influential voices dedicated to eradicating hunger and improving lives.

Speakers will share practical solutions to agricultural challenges, personal experiences and strategies for improving the lives of millions who daily face the threat of starvation. The event offers an open exchange of information, connecting the people and ideas that can make a real and sustainable difference.

Conference accommodation and meeting rooms for morning and evening sessions will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Crowne Plaza) in the Bell Tower district of Fort Myers. Afternoon workshops and demonstrations will be held at the 50-acre ECHO farm in North Fort Myers, which has one of the largest collections of tropical fruits and vegetables in the United States.

The official Language of this Conference is English.

Translation services may be provided for Plenary Sessions in Haitian Creole, Spanish and French if the supply and demand warrant.

Some afternoon workshops may be presented in languages other than English.




July 1, 2016 - Deadline to register for international participants who require a Visa Invitation Letter from ECHO.
September 30, 2016 - Last day to register at Early Bird Rates ($325)
October 1, 2016 - Last day to register as a speaker or workshop presenter.
October 1, 2016 - Last day that Visa Invitation Letters will be sent, must have recieved request by July 1. No Exceptions
November 1, 2016 - Last day to cancel in order to receive 100% refund of registration fees.

December, 31 2016 - Last day to request a refund

$150 for a spouse of a registered delegate

In order for your registration to be complete you must choose a payment option.

Credit card is the only payment option available online. We are unable to accept International checks.

If Credit Card payment is not possible for you, please contact us at for Wire Transfer instructions.

Cash is not an option.



Conference accommodation and meeting rooms for morning and evening sessions will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel  in the Bell Tower district of Fort Myers. 

Hotel room and breakfast: $95.00/night for a private room; shared room will be $47.50/night per person. If you would like to take advantage of the shared room rate, you will need to call the hotel directly.

We highly recommend that all Delegates stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel due to the conference scheduling and the opportunities for networking with others attending the conference.  Those not staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel must make their own arrangements for lodging and transportation.
All registrations and payments regarding the Hotel are handled directly by Crowne Plaza Hotel.  When you get to the "Confirmation" page of the registration you will see a link to register with the Hotel.  If you need housing, be certain to complete that portion of the registration.

Roommates:  Some Delegates may wish to share a room but do not know someone to ask to be their roommate.  If you would like, Crowne Plaza Hotel will help you in finding a roommate for the time you will be attending the conference and post conference activities.

The Hotel will honor these special rates from November 13th through November 22nd.  However if you are wanting to find someone to share a room, it may not be possible to have a roommate that has your same early arrival or late departure time.  You would then be charged the full rate of $95.00 per night for those nights you do not share.


Breakfast and Lunch:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, breakfast and lunch  are included in your conference registration. A Continental Breakfast is included at the Hotel, and lunches are served at ECHO.


Evening meals on Tuesday and Wednesday are not provided in your conference registration. There are many available options for restaurants within walking distance of the conference hotel.

Thursday Evening Banquet:

The closing banquet on Thursday evening is held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom. The banquet cost is included in your conference registration.

This is a networking conference which means that the Delegates are the most important resources.Practical talks by Delegates are the most useful. If you are already registered and are willing to participate as a presenter in one or more of these ways, please submit a speaker interest form.

Poster Session Announced

Our 2016 International Agriculture Conference (EIAC) in Florida will feature a poster session. This will provide conference attendees with another way, in addition to a talk or workshop, to share and exchange information. If you plan to attend the EIAC in November 2016 (full details and registration available here), please consider creating a poster for display at the hotel (Crowne Plaza) venue. Your poster can then be viewed by other conference delegates at their leisure, as well as during designated times for poster presenters and other conference attendees to interact. There will also be an opportunity, during a late-afternoon or evening session, to give a five-minute oral summary of your poster.
