Editora UFV - EDT, from the Federal University of Viçosa, linked to the Dean of Culture Extension, was created in May 1996 with the objective of making available to society, through a book of high technical, scientific and literary rigor, the results achieved by UFV and other similar institutions.
Its mission is to disseminate, through the book, the knowledge produced at UFV and other research and teaching institutions, as well as to contribute to the cultural and artistic development of society. Its editorial policy consists of publishing works of technical, scientific, artistic and literary value, according to plans and criteria defined by its Editorial Board, composed of the director of EDT and UFV professors representing the Agricultural Science Centers; Biological and Health; Exact and Technological; and Humanities, Letters and Arts.
