Planning technologies appropriate to farmers: concepts and procedures.
This Manual treats issues related to a single crop within the farmers' total cropping system. While the Manual features examples from maize and wheat, the procedures can be readily applied to other crops and cropping systems. Although we emphasize biological technologies the procedures also can be applied to the development of mechanical technologies.
