In order to develop a deeper understanding of summer tomato production in Taiwan, the agricultural economics group at AVRDC conducted a survey of producers in 1977. From secondary information provided by the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry and local weather stations, thee distinct summer sub-seasons were named. This publication reports on the results.
