The report on the “Horn of Africa and Sahel Virtual Knowledge Share Fair: Promoting innovation to build resilience against climatic shocks” that was held in October 2020 is now online. The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), in partnership with the Permanent Interstate Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Regional Office for Africa and Office of Emergencies and Resilience organised the week-long event.

The digital report documents 25 resilience-enhancing good or promising practices and experiences that were showcased and discussed during the virtual share fair. The purpose of sharing these practices and experiences that have proven impact was to further promote evidence-based decision making, capacity-building and resource mobilisation for the uptake and upscaling of replicable practices contributing to the operationalisation of the humanitarian–peace–development nexus in the Horn of Africa and Sahel regions.
