The Role of "Help for the Massai“ in Overcoming Key Issues of the Massai Community

Session: Over decades, the people of Massai have been and are still facing lifehardship, such as scarcity of resources (e.g. water and land), a massive population growth and a plight of women, deep-rooted by their traditions. Therefore, for the last twenty years, "Help for the Massai“, a german, christian, non-profit-organisation puts effort in fighting against the pointed out issues by focusing on the fields education, health and evangelism. This presentation gives an overview of the prevailing challenges, their remedies and the impact of HftM, as evidenced by personal experiences of the young Massai lady Leah Paulo.
