Over the last 40 years, an impressive number of theories on different aspects of rural development have been formulated and then rejected. The few theories that have endured are, for the most part, those that were born out of practice. The survivors had to struggle for years, make mistakes to find, in the end, something that really works.
The ten exhibited here by Roberto and Monika have gone through this process. The PROCONDEMA program, which they ran here in Honduras, is among the best agricultural development programs we have seen in Latin America. Therefore, I consider your input to be of the utmost importance.
