This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the ECHO International Agriculture Conference held in Fort Myers, FL! We hope that you will make plans to join us for this year's conference. The event brings together some of the world’s most influential voices dedicated to eradicating hunger and improving lives.
Speakers will share practical solutions to agricultural challenges, personal experiences and strategies for improving the lives of millions who daily face the threat of starvation. The event offers an open exchange of information, connecting the people and ideas that can make a real and sustainable difference.
Conference accommodation and meeting rooms for morning and evening sessions will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Crowne Plaza) in the Bell Tower district of Fort Myers. Afternoon workshops and demonstrations will be held at the 50-acre ECHO farm in North Fort Myers, which has one of the largest collections of tropical fruits and vegetables in the United States.

- Interpretation services may be provided for plenary sessions in Haitian Creole, Spanish, and French if the supply and demand warrant.

- September 30, 2018 - Deadline to request a Visa Invitation Letter from ECHO (fill out international participant section during registration)
- September 7, 2018 - Approved visa invitation letters will be sent out via email

Conference accommodation and meeting rooms for morning and evening sessions will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Bell Tower district of Fort Myers.
We highly recommend that all Delegates stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel due to the conference scheduling and the opportunities for networking with others attending the conference. Those not staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel must make their own arrangements for lodging and transportation, and please note that breakfast will not be included for delegates staying off site.
All registrations and payments regarding the Hotel are handled directly by Crowne Plaza Hotel. Please book using the code: "ECH"

The Hotel will honor these special rates from November 13th through November 22nd. However if you are wanting to find someone to share a room, please note, you will be charged the full rate of $.00 per night for any nights you do not share with someone.

Breakfast:
If you are staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, a complimentary Continental Breakfast is included at the Hotel Tuesday- Friday morning.
Lunch:
Lunch is provided in your conference registration. Lunches are served at ECHO Global Farm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If you are attending ECHO's post conference workshop, lunch will be provided that Friday as well.
Dinner:
Evening meals are not provided by ECHO. There are many available options for restaurants within walking distance of the conference hotel.
Thursday Evening Banquet:
The closing banquet on Thursday evening is held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom. The banquet cost is included in your conference registration.
Additional Opportunities
Poster Session Announced
Our 2018 International Agriculture Conference (EIAC) in Florida will feature a poster session. This will provide conference attendees with another way, in addition to a talk or workshop, to share and exchange information. If you plan to attend the EIAC in November 2018 (full details and registration available here), please consider creating a poster for display at the hotel (Crowne Plaza) venue. Your poster can then be viewed by other conference delegates at their leisure, as well as during designated times for poster presenters and other conference attendees to interact. There will also be an opportunity, during a late-afternoon or evening session, to give a five-minute oral summary of your poster.

Workshops: Be a Presenter
Afternoon Workshops
Sessions are 60 minutes in length, and give a chance for hands-on demonstrations and small group interactions about topics of interest to particular groups. (Apply to be an afternoon presenter here)
Evening Workshops
Brief reports on a particular technique, plant, project, or approach and are 25 minutes long. This year we will also feature several 60-minute discussion topics, giving opportunity for group interaction and participation. (Apply to be an evening speaker here)
Post Conference Workshops (additional $50 to attend)
When: Friday Nov. 16, 2018 8:30am-3:30pm
We are offering two post conference workshops. They will be held at the same time in different locations. If you are interested in attending, please choose one workshop during the registration process. Lunch and transportation are included in the $50 fee.
