Teaching about world hunger and basic agriculture must be done intentionally. Thinking that food comes from the grocery store tends to desensitize young people to the realities of food insecurity around the world. These resources may assist parents and teachers with finding ways to introduce truths about growing food and what happens when food is scarce.
