The diversity of seeds we have today will vanish if we do not know how to keep them properly. Improper seed keeping will result in extinction and it will impact human beings, especially their food security. This workshop will explore the basics of seed saving, the history and methodology of the ECHO Asia Seed Bank, as well as several appropriate options for community-level seed banking.
บทคัดย่อ: การจัดเก็บเมล็ดพันธุ์มีความสำคัญต่อมวลมนุษยชาติไม่ว่าจะเป็นยุคปัจจุบันและอนาคตเพราะเมล็ดพันธุ์ถือว่ามีความสำคัญต่อการดำรงชีพพืชหลายชนิดอาจสูญพันธุ์หากไม่ได้รับการจัดเก็บรักษาที่ดีซึ่งจะส่งผลต่อความมั่นคงทางอาหารในอนาคต
