Food Plant Solutions creates educational materials that explain what nutritional food is, why our bodies need it and how to grow and use it. Food Plant Solutions focuses on what are often neglected and underutilized plants, plants that are growing in and adapted to their environment, and are high in the most beneficial nutrients. Our materials are designed to empower people, but particularly women, so that they can make informed choices on what plants to grow and eat that will nutritiously feed themselves and their families. This project is cost effective, proven to work, sustainable and enables self-sufficiency.
We can end malnutrition – it’s as simple as growing the right plant in the right place.

Plant Food Solutions a été lancé par le Rotary Club de Devonport du Nord pour aider à la sensibilisation de la base de données de plantes comestibles développée par les plantes alimentaires internationales et de son potentiel dans la lutte contre la malnutrition et la sécurité alimentaire dans tous les pays du monde. En Juin 2007, Plant Food Solutions a été créé en tant que projet du district Rotary 9830, le Rotary Club de Devonport Nord et plantes alimentaires internationales. L'objectif principal du projet est d'accroître la sensibilisation et la compréhension de la grande ressource alimentaire qui existe sous la forme de plantes locales, bien adaptées aux conditions actuelles où ils se produisent naturellement, et comment cette ressource peut être utilisée pour la faim d'adresse, la malnutrition et la sécurité alimentaire.
