This Third Report on the World Nutrition, Situation is part of a series of SCN reports initiated in the mid 80s on nutritional status of populations in developing countries. These reports focus on information important for all the UN agencies concerned with nutrition, and for the many governments and non-governmental organizations and individuals active in nutrition.
