This book was inspired by the frustration I felt when I tried to find current information about Haiti. It is the result of countless hours of research, numerous reviews by experts on Haitian flora, and numerous interviews with Haitiens. However, it is far from complete, and it probably contains much information that is inaccurate or out-dated.
It is my hope that this book will help people working in agricultural development in Haiti to make better use of the abundant plant resources available there.
