Proceedings from the Soil, Food and People Conference A Biointensive Model for the Next Century
Presenters and participants gathered from all over the world in order to address the present-day soil challenges and collectively share comprehensive solutions to take home to their very diverse communities.
The presenters ranged from highly trained scientists to a South American rural priest who had personally witnessed the devastation of hunger and starvation in his own village. All of them are powerful speakers and dedicated workers in their own fields. During the conference they came together as one voice, sending out an urgent message that many people will find both challenging and inspirational.
