These lecture notes are comprised of several sections. The first deals with the concept of evaluation and the need for sociolgical evaluation. The second examines the variables which generally form an integral part of sociological evaluation. The section discusses in more detail three factors: labour, gender, and tenure, with an emphasis on the latter.
