This book is divided into three parts.  The first includes frontal cyclones, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and hailstorms.  This section acquaints the reader with the nature of such weather events and places some emphasis on dealing with the hazards associated with each of them.  In the second section such topics as hurricanes, floods, drought, unusual weather patterns, and storms, including mountainadoes, are considered.  The final section covers weather simulation and management with a discussion of weather modification, laboratory tornadoes, designing houses for withstanding strong winds, using wind and solar energy, altered weather and atmosphere from pollutants, and human response to weather.
