Recipe Instructions:

  1. In a heavy saucepan sauté onion in oil until glazed about 5 minutes.
  2. Trim ends of beans and cut into 1 ½ in lengths.
  3.  Add to onions along with garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and simmer in small amount of water or vegetable broth for 15-20 minutes or until tender.
