Perennial Vegetables, Indigenous Nutrient-Dense Greens and Simple Ways to Preserve Them

Session: The presentation will discuss perennial vegetables, traditional nutrient dense vegetables, and their important role in improving nutrition at the household level. This presentation will focus on multiplication and distribution of plants that are very nutritious for human consumption.

Sophia Kasubi is the Executive Assistant for ECHO East Africa. She manages the ECHO East Africa seed bank since March 2015 to date. Faith Juma is the Seed bank Manager for ECHO East Africa since September 2019. She holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Human Nutrition from the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA)
