This guide is structured in five sections: the relationship between erosive processes and certain types of landforms and landscapes common within northern Kenya, the successive stages of water-induced soil erosion, management implications and recommendation for different stages of the soil erosion sequence, an appendix providing pictorial examples of specific types and degrees of soil erosion, and an appendix providing a detailed classification of erosional forms.
