Integrating Gender into Food Safety Issues in the Dairy Value Chain

Session : This is a practical (and fun) mini-workshop that helps participants understand not only the common food safety issues in a dairy value chain, but also how gender impacts it. Participants will receive a USB drive with related resources when they participate.

Presenter : Dr. Kathy Colverson is the Senior Gender Scientist with the USAID Feed the Future Livestock Systems Innovation Lab, and an Animal Scientist. She works in the areas of rural farming systems and the integration of gender and nutrition into both research and NGO and government programs.
