The guidlines provided in this book are an attempt to apply some of the ideas of participatory approach to planning agroforestry extension at the local level in Kenya. It is the hope of the author that publication of this manual will help to strengthen the collaboration between Kenyan farmers and extension workers in identifying potentials and problems in the land use system.
