This publication reports on a short training class that was help in Dumardaga, India.The course started with an introduction on the conceptual aspects of what sustainable agriculture and organic methods are. How to go about selecting crops, seeds, preparing the field, nutrient cycling and pest and disease prevention were discussed. The third topic was related to socio-economic and political aspects and how the people can get organised around these activities for taking up other issues affecting their lives.
