Recipe Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients except oil, starting with dry ingredients, in large bowl and mix to smooth consistency.
 - Heat oil to frying temperature (medium heat) and carefully place spoonsful of the mixture in the oil.
 - Fry until golden.
 - Drain and sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
 - Serve with tamarind chutney.
