In this step-by-step video we will show you how to assemble a basic TLUD (Top-Lit-Up-Draft) Biochar Kiln using a 200L metal drum. This is our preferred 'entry-level' method for biochar production and can be easily replicated in most settings. Biochar produced in this manner can be used as a soil amendment when mixed with compost or manure or used in low-cost water filtration systems.
