Recipe Instructions:

  1. Make a syrup with the water of the coconut, the sugar, the lemon peel, and the cinnamon stick.
  2. Grate the coconut and add it to the syrup when it is very thick.  Mix well.
  3. Boil, peel and mash the sweet potatoes. Add to the mixture of the syrup.
  4. Add the milk.
  5. Simmer until cooked.
