At the center of our work is ECHO Development Notes (EDN), which we send to thousands of people in over 160 countries. In EDN we share the most helpful, practical information that we come across about growing food under difficult circumstances. To be eligible to receive EDN by mail free of charge you must demonstrate that you are a development worker sharing agricultural ideas with small farmers, or be a paying member of ECHOcommunity.

It is published in English, Spanish and French. These are pdf files and require Adobe Software in order to view them. The document will open or download depending on your browser settings.

The information in issues 1 - 51 has been published in our book Amaranth to Zai Holes. Which is available for purchase through our bookstore, or searchable online. Click here for the online version.

Our second book, Agricultural Options for the Poor, is now in print as well. With it, we expanded on the foundation from Amaranth to Zai Holes by covering EDN 52 through 100. We also have new material written specifically for the book. Click here to purchase.
